A general guide to cake portion sizes is as shown below. You will need twice as much cake if you are having sponge tiers.

Most of the three tier cakes on our site are 6, 8 and 10 inches unless otherwise stated.
Single tier cakes are 6 inches unless specifed otherwise. Two Tier cakes are 6 and 8 inches.
Four tier cakes are generally 6, 8, 10 and 12 inches. Five tier cakes will have an additional 14 inch bottom tier.
If you order mixed tiers including a fruit cake we will make the bottom tier a fruit cake and the rest of the cakes as sponges in whatever flavours you prefer.
